The remote start being available from the app only is nonsense on a 43k vehicle. Add in it being subscription based is reason enough not to purchase another Mazda. The app start doesn’t work when the vehicle doesn’t have good cell signal so it is hit and miss in most rural areas. Very disappointed in how this was implemented !
Mazda should be ashamed of themselves. No, I don’t want to use a stupid app to start my car. No, I will not pay a subscription to use a function in my car. Remote star requires no service or maintenance from Mazda, why should I have to pay over and over again to use it. Just say no to Mazda. I’m looking for aftermarket solutions.
NOT EVERYONE IS TECH SAVY AND HAS AN IPHONE TO DOWNLODE APPS. DID ANYONE AT MADZA THINK ABOUT THAT. SO WHEN MY CELL SERVICE IS DOWN I CANNOT START MY CAR. CRAZY
